Binance unveils new Binance Wallet with updated ‘seamless’ features

Binance unveils a new version of the exchange’s wallet, the Binance Wallet. The new wallet is equipped with upgraded features including a unified wallet, revamped airdrop zone and a new interface.

In a notice published on Dec. 9, Binance has rebranded its old Binance Web3 Wallet into the Binance Wallet, a new upgraded version that promises to make the web3 experience more seamless with a series of new updates that will be rolled out in several stages.

This batch of upgrades emphasizes the “Seamless” theme, designed to make the platform easier to navigate, with features meant to enhance asset management, streamline airdrop access, and elevate the overall user experience.

The revamped Binance Wallet is designed to accelerate this transition, offering intuitive tools that simplify the decentralized experience, and create a seamless way for everyone to explore and benefit from Web3,” said Winson Liu, Global Lead of Binance Wallet in a press release.

The first update is dubbed the Unified Wallet, which makes asset management easier for users by compiling various cryptocurrencies from multiple wallets and networks into one interface that supports a wide range of chains.

This way, users do not have to juggle between multiple wallets. Not only that, this feature also provides users with a complete overview of their entire portfolio within a single, unified dashboard. The Unified Wallet also makes sending and receiving tokens easier by only showing the relevant wallet and chain combinations that hold funds.

The second upgrade is the revamped Airdrop Zone and Rewards Center. The Binance Wallet offers users exclusive airdrops, giving them early access to tokens from upcoming web3 projects. The Airdrop Zone also uses a reward mechanisms that operates on a first-come, first-serve allocation basis.

The wallet’s new Reward Center compiles all airdrop statuses and pending rewards into an hub that allows users to track everything in one place.

Along with this upgrade, Binance will launch an Airdrop Carnival event starting Dec. 10. The Airdrop Carnival is a multi-week event offering $5 million in token airdrops from upcoming Web3 projects.

Finally, the Binance Wallet also comes with a new user interface layout which integrates pop art elements and 2D illustrations. The new user-interface is designed to make navigating the app easier.
